When I found this recipe I was skeptical that a macaroni salad with only 4 ingredients would taste that good, but I bit the bullet and tried it. What a surprise! It was delicious! To the macaroni and mayonnaise I added celery, green onion, green bell pepper, sweet green peas and cubed chicken, which made it practically a meal in itself. The salad was even better after staying in the refrigerator overnight than it was that evening. Ms. Lawton, my hat is off to you for providing a recipe for delicious macaroni salad that can be made on the cheap for people on a budget or a fixed income (like myself). Thank you!
